Health Communication Capacity Collaborative is a 5- year (2012 – 2017) USAID funded Social Behavior Change Communication project with JHU-CCP as the prime. Centre for Communication and Social Impact was responsible for the state level implementation of the malaria component in 5 states namely; Akwa Ibom, Benue, Kebbi, Nasarawa and Zamfara from 2014 through to June 2018. CCSI also implemented family planning component of the project in these states from August 2017 to March 2018 before closing out in June 2018. The strategies used to implement the activities include; house to house visits, community dialogues and compound meetings which included screenings of the drama series Newman street.
